Today I had an easy day - just relax and chill! I decided to go to the beach, and on my way over there I saw a place where you could paddle board. It looked so fun, so I just had do try it! Unfortunately, all paddle boards were occupied, so I would have to wait. Instead I just hit the beach, and would come again on my way back. I tanned on the beach, and it was so nice! It wasn´t to hot (burning) or to windy either, just perfect! The renting chairs/tanning chairs, were pretty cheap to rent, only 5 dollars. After being on the beach I went to eat the nearby Ben & Jerry. I had a salmon burger with hummus, mmmhh. Yummy!
Then I headed back to the paddleboarding, and then back to the hostel Im staying at, so I can shower and pack for tomorrow. Im going back to Florida tomorrow :-)

Bacardi Rum Factory - Cataño
Today I took the ferry from Old San Juan, pier 2, to Cataño and saw the Bacardi Rum Factory. The tour is free and really interesting. The tour began with an introduction to the Bacardi Rum history, and then a short presentation (movie) is showed, that explains why Bacardis logo is a bat. Afterwards the guide explains the process of how the different rums are made, and a "reconstruction" of the first office and distillery. At the end of the tour you can smell some of the rums and a bartender talks about the original recipes of "cuba libre", "mojito"and "daiquiri", and the history of their names. When the tour is over you can go to the outside bar and have some drinks and visit the gift shop. (I tasted the "coconut" and "dragonberry", so good and refreshing!) The tour was really worth it and free!

Colorful!
Old San Juan is so full of colors! Bright/pastel colors everywhere. Even the gates and windows have been designed with great creativity! So lively and fun to see!!! :-)
